A high definition simulcast Disney Channel will be available on Sky platform from 16 September in the UK and Republic of Ireland, strengthening the proposition for the HD multiplex Disney Channel, Disney XD HD which launched in October 2010 and Disney Cinemagic HD in December 2008.
New music shorts full of Disney Channel, Disney's Pop Stop, will focus on a different artist each episode, while giving fans lowdown on their musical star and insight into their musical influences together with an exclusive performance. Disney Channel will premiere HD version of the most popular high-definition live action and animation programs including Good Luck Charlie, Shake It Up and Fish Hooks, and his specially made films such as air immediately Lemonade Mouth, who has taken the U.S. by storm.
